In this special collaborative workshop for both bodyworkers and movers, we ask “How can hands-on bodywork and Contact Improvisation dance inform each other?”

Join us for a day of experiential learning, experimentation and creative expression though hands on and movement explorations. Til and Alicia are excited to bring together their decades of experience in bodywork (Til) and Contact Improvisation (Alicia) to discover how combining these disciplines can open up new options for dancers and bodyworkers alike. “This fifth workshop in our collaboration will focus on bringing greater awareness to the ARM & SHOULDER. As in past collaborations, we will also explore the rich continuum between release, engagement, and our ability to respond as both movers and as touchers, so we can stay in an engaging and co-creative somatic conversation within a dance or a bodywork session.”

Prerequisite: Training in either hands-on bodywork, or Contact Improvisation. Appropriate for all levels and all bodies.
